The story, neutrally told

The anonymous art group Secret Handshake placed playable satirical video games at the World War I Memorial on the National Mall in Washington on Monday. The game is called "Operation Epic Furious: Nuuk 'Em All". It sends a player-controlled President Donald Trump on an Arctic adventure against Nuuk, Greenland's capital. According to the group, Trump battles "Fully Vaccinated Children, Woke Yetis, and the happiest people on Earth, the Danish," while the player tries to keep him from falling asleep.

The Independent reported that a fourth console appeared in Nuuk and that the game is also available online. The Independent said the group made the game after the White House launched its own gaming website, and that it debuted about a week after the US, Denmark and Greenland signed an agreement expanding US military access while preserving Danish sovereignty. White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly told the Washington Post the group's members are "untalented 'artists'" who should avoid commenting on foreign policy. The Independent said it had contacted the White House for comment and noted the same language was used previously.

The group has a record of anti-Trump installations, including May arcade consoles about the Iran war and statues of Trump with Jeffrey Epstein.
