Centre · 2The official synopsis says the story picks up where season 1 ended: Michael and Diana have barely arrived in Spain when they are pulled back to answer questions about Ricardo's death, while tensions grow among the gang in Liverpool and an old-school gangster from Ronnie's era, recently out of prison, wants compensation from the firm. Centre · 1The show was created by Stephen Butchard and filmed in and around Liverpool, with extra filming for season 2 in Spain. Centre · 1Digital Spy says the first season was a hit with viewers and quotes Butchard, on the renewal, saying the team had been "blown away by the incredibly positive response". It adds that official stills of the new season were released in August.
