The story, neutrally told

A car hit a pedestrian and then crashed into a building on Temple Row in Birmingham city centre on Tuesday 29 September. West Midlands Police said they were called at around 4.30pm after a woman was hit by a car that then hit a building. Police said the woman's injuries were not thought to be life-changing at this stage.

The driver, a man, remained at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries. The Daily Express, opening a live blog, reported that pedestrians, in the plural, were hit, and described the report as unconfirmed with the word "reportedly". The cause of the crash and the number of people hurt beyond the one woman police mentioned have not been reported in these articles.
