The story, neutrally told

Mixed · 2MBC Group and CJ ENM have signed a long-term strategic partnership to expand premium Korean entertainment across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Mixed · 2Its centrepiece is a dedicated, branded Tving space on the streamer MBC Shahid, offering premium Korean content from CJ ENM, Tving and other South Korean production studios. Mixed · 2More than 13 new titles are scheduled for release during 2026, alongside more than 20 titles from CJ ENM's library, and the volume is to grow over the course of the multi-year deal.

Mixed · 2Named titles include My Bias, My Boss, The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, Filing for Love and Our Universe; Deadline also lists The Judge Returns. Mixed · 2All new titles will be available for simulcast on the MBC Shahid app, and Arabic dubbing and subtitles will be offered for selected titles. Mixed · 2The deal also extends to linear television: CJ ENM titles will air exclusively on MBC4, which Deadline says is for a specific period, with a schedule to be announced.

Mixed · 2Tareq Alibrahim, Director of MBC1, MBC Drama and MBC Shahid Content, and Sebastian Kim, Vice President and Head of Content Distribution Business Unit of CJ ENM, sealed the deal at MIPCOM in Cannes. Left · 1Kim told Variety the companies already work together, so the deal is "a natural next step" that moves CJ ENM from supplying content to a "multi-window, hyper distribution approach" and strengthens Tving's brand presence in MENA. Left · 1Al Ibrahim said it is "more than a content acquisition announcement" and will let Shahid move from individual acquisitions to a consistent destination for K-drama fans, with the immediate priority being the new lineup, content discovery and coordinated marketing.

Every sentence links to the reporting it rests on. The pill in front of each says where its sources sit: Left, Centre or Right when one side supplies at least half of them, Mixed when they are evenly split. The number is how many outlets it cites.
