The story, neutrally told

Mixed · 2Prime Video has announced a one-off special, Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson's Farm Special, in which Jeremy Clarkson will try to grow and build his own car from produce grown at his Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire. Mixed · 2The car will be based on a Jaguar F-Type V6S, which Clarkson wants to give a Diddly Squat leather interior and wool carpets. Mixed · 2He also plans to grow a flax crop and turn it into a flax-composite as a sustainable alternative to carbon fibre.

Mixed · 2Car designer Ian Callum CBE, who designed the original F-Type and the Aston Martin Vanquish, will help him. Left · 1Prime Video's statement says Clarkson is frustrated by modern motoring's "endless beeps, bongs and nanny-state technology" and decided to build a car rather than buy a "new" one. Mixed · 2The special is due to stream on Prime Video next year with no date confirmed. Season six of Clarkson's Farm is due in 2027.

Left · 1Variety reports that Expectation is producing, with Andy Wilman, Peter Fincham and Zoe Brewer as executive producers. Left · 2Several outlets add that Clarkson recently told the Royal Television Society conference in London that he was thinking about what comes after Clarkson's Farm, which would have to be "unbelievably ambitious". Mixed · 2The Standard and The Independent note that Clarkson, 66, was diagnosed with prostate cancer and is in remission.

Every sentence links to the reporting it rests on. The pill in front of each says where its sources sit: Left, Centre or Right when one side supplies at least half of them, Mixed when they are evenly split. The number is how many outlets it cites.
