The story, neutrally told

Mixed · 2Beverley Callard, 69, who played Liz McDonald in Coronation Street, said in an Instagram video posted on Friday that she is in "limbo" over her health. Mixed · 2She said tests had found erosion and chronic inflammation in her stomach, and that she was still waiting for the results of biopsies. Right · 1According to the Daily Mail, she posted two Instagram videos: in the first, from her car outside St Vincent's oncology, she said she had seen Professor Janice Walsh, that "part of my stomach has eroded away", and that she had a letter about bone scans with an appointment to follow.

Mixed · 2Her consultant planned to prescribe three medications, two antibiotics and one that protects the stomach, but a pharmacist would not dispense them. Centre · 1According to the Evening Standard, the pharmacist said the prescription would "interact with some of the medications you are already on" and that oncology needed to be contacted. Callard called trying to reach the hospital a "nightmare" but praised the pharmacist for trying to contact doctors for her. Left · 1She said she hoped to hear more the following day.

Mixed · 2Callard also said she and her family were "gutted" that they could not adopt a rescue dog named Elvis from Dublin Dog Hub, because he had bitten another dog and a handler, which would be unsafe for her dogs Arthur and Elsie. Mixed · 2Callard revealed a breast cancer diagnosis in February and has updated followers since; her last radiotherapy session was in July. Right · 1The Daily Mail said her July radiotherapy was the tenth and final session, and that she was due to see the professor again in two months.

Centre · 1The Evening Standard added that she said in September she lost consciousness for about 10 minutes while filming the Irish soap Fair City, and that she left the I'm A Celebrity... South Africa camp after collapsing in an episode filmed in September 2025, before her diagnosis.

Every sentence links to the reporting it rests on. The pill in front of each says where its sources sit: Left, Centre or Right when one side supplies at least half of them, Mixed when they are evenly split. The number is how many outlets it cites.
