The story, neutrally told

Disney+ and Indonesian streamer Vidio announced a joint subscription called the Vidio Ultimate Disney+ All Screen Bundle. It pairs Disney+ Standard with Vidio Ultimate All Screen, combining Disney's films and franchises with Vidio's local series, live TV and sports including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and Indonesia's BRI Super League. All Vidio users will also get a "Taste of Disney+" collection of select episodes, which will be refreshed periodically and is meant to encourage upgrades to the bundle.

The companies are also working on giving Disney+ subscribers a selection of Vidio originals and sinetron (local TV soaps); no timing has been given and details are still under discussion. The Hollywood Reporter says pricing and overall financial terms were not disclosed. Tony Zameczkowski, Disney's senior vice president and general manager of direct-to-consumer, Asia Pacific, said the deal is part of a push to accelerate collaborations in the region.

Vidio CEO Sutanto Hartono said the two services complement each other and give audiences more choice and better value. Both outlets cite Media Partners Asia as ranking Vidio first among Indonesian streaming platforms for four years, and note it has more than 110 original series. The deal follows Disney+ partnerships in Korea, Japan and Malaysia, and Disney plans to roughly triple its annual international original series output over three years.
