The story, neutrally told

Mixed · 2Fandango has ordered its first original programme, a two-episode unscripted reunion special called "Bad Girls Club: Unfinished Business", for its free, ad-supported streaming service. Mixed · 2Fandango became part of Versant Media when NBCUniversal split off most of its cable and digital offerings at the start of the year; Deadline notes Versant also owns the Oxygen brand, which has pivoted to true crime. Mixed · 2Tanisha Thomas, a "Bad Girls" veteran who appeared in season two, will host. The reunion brings back season-seven cast members Stasi Townsend, Shelly Hickman, Judi Jackson, Tiara Hodge, Angie Castillo and Priscilla Mennella; Variety says they will be split into groups of three for each episode.

Mixed · 2Fandango said season seven was chosen because it is the most-watched season of the series on its service. Mixed · 2According to Versant, each episode will revisit the show's most iconic fights and confrontations, with the women facing each other to share their sides and decide whether old rivalries can be closed. Mixed · 2Val Boreland, Versant's president of entertainment, said Bad Girls Club "has consistently over-indexed with our viewers" and that the company wants to give longtime viewers "a front-row seat".

Mixed · 2Bunim/Murray Productions, part of Banijay Entertainment and the company behind the original, produces the special. Julie Pizzi, Steve Ezell, Brad Tiemann and Thomas are executive producers. Deadline says it will air later this year. Mixed · 2The original series ran for 17 seasons on Oxygen from 2006 to 2017. Variety lists its spinoffs and says the show was displaced when Oxygen became a true-crime channel, while Deadline adds that Roku recently launched "Laguna Beach: The Reunion", placing Fandango among streamers moving into reunion specials.

Every sentence links to the reporting it rests on. The pill in front of each says where its sources sit: Left, Centre or Right when one side supplies at least half of them, Mixed when they are evenly split. The number is how many outlets it cites.
