Framing
Both outlets lead with the FBI's denial. Reuters' copy (carried by the Straits Times) is a short, factual account; the New York Post frames the episode as the FBI exposing a false MS NOW report.
Emphasis
The FBI's rebuttal, Patel's location at Liberty University, and the New York Post's account of the bureau's attack on MS NOW's sources.
Leaves out or plays down
Neither report includes a response from MS NOW; the Post says it did not immediately respond. The Reuters copy does not mention the July Politico report on planned travel.
Charged language
“exposing false MS Now report”“ripped”“fired back”“Facts over clickbait”
