Fire destroys stalls at Kingston's Ancient Market; eight people evacuated, none hurt

A fire in the early hours of Tuesday 6 October destroyed stalls and damaged shopfronts at Kingston's 800-year-old Ancient Market in south-west London. Eight people were evacuated and no injuries were reported. The Market Place stays cordoned off.
