The story, neutrally told

Gordon Ramsay's UK restaurants took more than £100m in revenue in 2025, up 3% on the previous year, according to newly released accounts. The UK business recorded an operating loss of £5.8m; City A.M. reports this narrowed from £7.3m the year before. UK earnings (Ebitda) were £8.5m, but the outlets disagree on direction: City A.M. says they slipped 29% year on year, while the Evening Standard says they were up 4% and a record.

Global earnings rose 12% to about £14m (£14.3m per the Evening Standard), and City A.M. says Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global took £152m in revenue across 102 sites. The group named 22 Bishopsgate, a City of London skyscraper, its "star performer"; it hosts five Ramsay venues including Lucky Cat, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar and Gordon Ramsay High, plus a cooking academy. Chief executive Andy Wenlock called it an "incredible year" and said 22 Bishopsgate was the "star performer, with 5 restaurant experiences in one venue".

The Evening Standard reports sales at the venue this year to date are more than double last year's, and Wenlock cited a commitment to improving underlying profitability. The company said the Netflix documentary 'Being Gordon Ramsay' boosted bookings, including at Lucky Cat, which opened in February last year. Ramsay and Lion Capital each own 50% of the group, formed when the UK and US operations merged in February last year; it holds nine Michelin stars. The company expects franchise and licensing partnerships to play a growing role in future growth.
