Mixed · 2Hulu will premiere Dan Fogelman's NFL-themed family drama "The Land" on Monday, Feb. 15, with the first two episodes releasing together and one new episode each week after that. Mixed · 2Variety, which broke the news as an exclusive, says the first two episodes arrive at 9 p.m. PT. TVLine, citing Variety, describes the date as the day after the Super Bowl. Mixed · 2According to the official synopsis, Cleveland Browns head coach Danny Rourke (Christopher Meloni) has one last chance to turn around his team after several disappointing seasons, and his fate rests on a newly drafted Ohio State quarterback who is his son.

Mixed · 2The synopsis adds that team owner Hal Durkin (William H. Macy) must decide which of his two daughters is best equipped to take over the team, and that the show follows two families on the field and in the front office, with a fanbase demanding a winning season. Mixed · 2The cast also includes Mandy Moore, Chace Crawford, Sam Corlett, Tanner Zagarino, Chloe Bennet, Bridget Moynahan and Omar Epps. Mixed · 2Fogelman is creator, executive producer and showrunner; the show is produced by 20th Television and Skydance Sports, and the other executive producers are Jess Rosenthal, Kevin Falls, Justin Adler, David Ellison, Jesse Sisgold and Jason T. Reed.

Left · 1Variety notes the premiere is not a direct Super Bowl lead-out, because the game airs on ESPN, ABC and Disney+. It also recalls Fogelman's earlier sports-related work: a Super Bowl-themed "This Is Us" episode in 2018 and the one-season baseball drama "Pitch".

Every sentence links to the reporting it rests on. The pill in front of each says where its sources sit: Left, Centre or Right when one side supplies at least half of them, Mixed when they are evenly split. The number is how many outlets it cites.
