Framing
Both outlets relay the IDF's account. The Jerusalem Post leads on the weapons clearance and adds local Golan officials' security concerns. Arab News carries AFP's short report on the detentions with background on Israel's presence in Syria.
Emphasis
The Jerusalem Post stresses IDF operations and Golan residents' security; the AFP copy stresses the army statement and Israel's occupation of the security zone.
Leaves out or plays down
Neither reports independent confirmation, accounts from the detained men or Syrian officials, or who the suspects were. The AFP copy omits the weapons find; the Jerusalem Post omits the wider context of Israeli strikes and occupation.
