Centre · 1Earlier, the Evening Standard reports, Fulham had two penalty appeals waved away, including a Gonzalo Garcia shot blocked on the line by Diop's arm, which was judged to be in a natural position. Centre · 1Ipswich goalkeeper Christian Walton made a late save from Kevin to preserve the win. Emersonn also hit a post for Ipswich after Sessegnon's goal. Centre · 1Fulham stay in the relegation zone with two points from six league games, seven points behind Ipswich, who are ninth after a third win of the season under Gary O'Neil.

Right · 1It was Fulham head coach Alvaro Arbeloa's fourth league loss in six games. Arab News notes Fulham have conceded after the 75th minute in matches against Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Manchester United and now Ipswich. Right · 1Arbeloa is a former Real Madrid manager who has not managed in the Premier League before. Arab News says his only previous managerial experience was with Real's second team and a brief spell in charge of Real last season after Xabi Alonso's sacking. Right · 1Responding to questions over his future, Arbeloa said: "I never worry about my position. I don’t feel fear. You cannot be a coach if you feel it." He added that "it is just six games, but it is true we need points", and pointed to his playing career with Real Madrid, Liverpool and Spain.
