The story, neutrally told

Mixed · 2The Israeli military said on Sunday 4 October that it killed the director of a Turkish NGO in a strike in the Khan Yunis area of the Gaza Strip. Mixed · 2It named him as Saqr Nabil Musa Qaisi and accused him of being a member of the Nukhba elite force of Hamas's armed wing. Mixed · 2The military said Qaisi headed Deniz Feneri, a Turkish organisation presented as a humanitarian aid association but which, it alleged, maintains ties with senior Hamas leaders and with officials within the Turkish leadership.

Mixed · 2The army also alleged that Qaisi regularly employed numerous militants through the association, calling this a "cynical exploitation of the humanitarian sector"; AFP noted it provided no evidence. Mixed · 2Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah had earlier announced Qaisi's death, saying he led the Turkish humanitarian organisation in a strike on a vehicle in southern Gaza. Right · 1Arab News's copy also embeds a post saying the strike hit a vehicle in Deir el-Balah, killing one person and wounding 10, and that sources in Gaza identified the dead man as Deniz Feneri's Gaza Strip director, describing the NGO as linked to Erdoğan's ruling AKP.

Mixed · 2In a separate statement, the army said it killed a commander of Hamas's armed wing in another strike in the Khan Yunis area. Mixed · 2The strike came during a ceasefire announced last October: Gaza's health ministry says Israeli forces have killed more than 1,440 people since then, while the Israeli military has identified five deaths in its ranks and one civilian contractor. Mixed · 2The war began with Hamas's 2023 attack, which killed 1,221 people according to an AFP tally of official Israeli figures; Gaza's health ministry, whose figures the UN considers reliable, says the Israeli offensive has killed more than 74,200 people.

Every sentence links to the reporting it rests on. The pill in front of each says where its sources sit: Left, Centre or Right when one side supplies at least half of them, Mixed when they are evenly split. The number is how many outlets it cites.
