The story, neutrally told

Left · 1Al Jazeera reported that an Israeli air strike on a vehicle in the Tuffah neighbourhood of Gaza City on Tuesday killed one person and wounded several others, according to emergency services. Centre · 1Anadolu Agency reported a separate strike early Wednesday on a residential building in the Rimal neighbourhood of Gaza City, which killed Reem Asaad Awad, 33, and injured two people including a girl, according to a medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital. Centre · 1Anadolu also cited witnesses saying Israeli military vehicles and quadcopter drones fired heavily on homes in Tuffah, and that the army blew up homes in areas it controls east of Gaza City and pushed bulldozers beyond its lines east of Deir al-Balah. It reported no casualties from the Deir al-Balah and Bureij incidents.

Left · 1Wafa reported that a four-year-old boy, Osama Ahmed Abed, died in az-Zawayda in central Gaza of wounds from an Israeli attack three weeks earlier. Left · 1Gaza's Civil Defence said it was concerned about repeated forced displacement near the "Yellow Line", the boundary to which Israeli troops withdrew under the October 2025 ceasefire, and said explosions and gunfire had damaged hundreds of displaced people's tents. Mixed · 2Casualty figures differ between the two outlets: Al Jazeera put the number killed since the truce began at at least 1,400, while Anadolu, citing Gaza's Health Ministry, said at least 1,498 Palestinians have been killed and 5,306 injured. Both cite more than 74,000 Palestinians killed in Gaza since October 2023.

Mixed · 2Al Jazeera's maps show nearly two-thirds of Gaza is under Israeli military control or access restrictions, and it said Israeli forces have taken more territory than the Yellow Line envisaged. It also reported that no Palestinian technocratic administration is in place and that more than 80 percent of Gaza's buildings are destroyed or damaged; Anadolu put damage to infrastructure at around 90%. Left · 1The US-backed Board of Peace marked the anniversary with a post saying Trump's leadership "ended a war that had no end in sight". Left · 1In the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said Israeli attacks in Ramallah and el-Bireh wounded a child with live ammunition and left several people suffering from tear gas. Wafa reported that Palestine TV correspondent Khaled Mattawa was wounded in the hand by a sound bomb and Sky News Arabia correspondent Firas Lutfi in the leg by shrapnel.

Left · 1Israeli forces also raided the offices of several Palestinian non-governmental organisations. Human rights lawyer Muhammad Dahleh said Israel uses laws and military orders to shut such groups down by designating them terrorist organisations on evidence withheld from them. Left · 1Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a video on X that Israel was preparing for a scenario in which Palestinian Authority forces turn their guns on Israel in the West Bank, adding: "There will be no Arab army west of the Jordan River." Al Jazeera's Nida Ibrahim called the raids "yet another step to undermine the Palestinian Authority". The Israeli army's account of the day's incidents is not given in either report.

Every sentence links to the reporting it rests on. The pill in front of each says where its sources sit: Left, Centre or Right when one side supplies at least half of them, Mixed when they are evenly split. The number is how many outlets it cites.
