Left · 2The original series, created by Brenda Hampton and produced by Aaron Spelling, ran for 11 seasons from 1996 to 2007 on The WB (later The CW) and followed the Camden family, headed by a minister, in California. Left · 1The A.V. Club noted that the show's legacy has been tainted since Stephen Collins admitted in 2014 to inappropriate sexual conduct with three underage girls, and said the reboot appears to be distancing itself from him; Variety's report does not mention this.
