The story, neutrally told

Right · 2KJ Biermann, the 15-year-old son of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak and former NFL player Kroy Biermann, has pleaded not guilty to seven felony charges in a case involving a female classmate. Right · 2Attorney Jason Sheffield filed the plea with Fulton County Superior Court on Monday (5 October) and waived a formal arraignment, which had been set for 14 October. Right · 2Sheffield also asked for a hearing on transferring the case to Fulton County Juvenile Court, and, according to Breitbart citing Page Six, for ten days after receiving discovery to file motions.

Right · 2Biermann was arrested on 17 August after the alleged incident at a Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia, on 23 April, and was later indicted by a grand jury. Right · 1Breitbart relays the girl's account: she said Biermann forced himself on her in a sauna and tried to pull down her pants. She said Biermann made her perform oral sex before penetrating her with a finger. Breitbart adds that she was examined the next day and no male DNA was found in her mouth or vagina. Right · 2Biermann spent roughly a month in detention before Fulton County Superior Court Judge Melynee Leftridge granted release on a $200,000 bond. The conditions are living with Zolciak, attending school virtually, no social media or cellphone use, electronic monitoring, and no contact with the alleged victim, her family or anyone under 16.

Right · 1At the bond hearing, Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy said the alleged victim suffered 'documented physical injury' and called the alleged incident 'predatory'. She said Biermann had been charged with sexual battery of a minor in October 2025, a case handled in juvenile court, and remains under court supervision that expires in 2027. Right · 1Breitbart also reports that prosecutors said at the first hearing that investigators found footage on Biermann's phone allegedly showing sex with a family member under 12. The Daily Mail does not mention this. Right · 2Sheffield said the prosecution's characterisation of the earlier juvenile matter 'grossly misrepresent[s]' the facts. He said it involved 'inappropriate, crude behavior involving two middle-schoolers' and did not result in an adjudication for statutory rape, sexual intercourse or any comparable offense.

Right · 1Zolciak has said her son 'categorically denies' the allegations, passed a voluntary polygraph and had no DNA found in an examination. She asked that the process be allowed to run its course. The Daily Mail says she declined comment on the plea, and that Biermann could face up to 25 years in prison if convicted.

Leaves out or plays down
Breitbart omits the bond conditions, the prior October 2025 charge and Zolciak's statement. The Daily Mail omits the girl's detailed account and the phone-footage claim. Neither includes comment from the alleged victim's side. No left or centre outlets covered the story.
