The story, neutrally told

Left · 2NASA astronaut Anil Menon and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk stepped out of the International Space Station on 29 October to install and deploy an International Space Station Roll-Out Solar Array (IROSA). Left · 1The Daily Mirror said the spacewalk was expected to last about six hours and 45 minutes. Left · 1It is the first of two spacewalks planned for this autumn, and the first time an astronaut has gone outside the station in nearly two months, according to the Mirror.

Left · 1The Mirror said Kutryk will be the fifth Canadian to perform a spacewalk and the first from Canada in the past seven years, while Menon has completed three spacewalks and also serves with the US Space Force. Left · 1NASA flight engineers will help the spacewalkers in and out of their suits and command the Canadarm2 robotic arm during the installation. Left · 1NASA has noted there have been nearly 300 spacewalks at the station overall, but it labelled this one "US Spacewalk 100" because it is the 100th conducted from the ISS's Quest airlock without a space shuttle present, according to the Mirror.

Every sentence links to the reporting it rests on. The pill in front of each says where its sources sit: Left, Centre or Right when one side supplies at least half of them, Mixed when they are evenly split. The number is how many outlets it cites.

The Mirror stresses the milestone numbering, Canadian participation, duration and power-supply purpose; the Guardian stresses the solar array installation.
Leaves out or plays down
Neither gives outcomes of the spacewalk or NASA's own statements; the Guardian gives no background on the 100th-spacewalk label.
