Framing
Both UK left-leaning outlets report the death briefly as a news incident, noting investigators' suicide hypothesis and stressing it is not thought linked to the day's protests. Metro gives more protest context; the Mirror is more emotive and adds helpline details.
Emphasis
The protest backdrop and the lack of a link to it; the Mirror adds the landmark's closure and Samaritans contact details.
Leaves out or plays down
Neither names the man or gives details of the investigation beyond the suicide hypothesis. The Mirror's account relies partly on Metro's report.
Charged language
“tragically lost his life”“to the horror of several onlookers”
For example
“A young man has tragically lost his life after falling from the iconic Arc de Triomphe in France .” — Daily Mirror
“Investigators are currently treating suicide as the leading hypothesis.” — Metro
