Man, 40, shot dead at memorial service in East Acton, west London; murder inquiry launched

A 40-year-old man was shot dead on Friday evening at the junction of Braybrook Street and Erconwald Street in East Acton, where 40 to 50 people including children had gathered for a memorial service. The Met has opened a murder investigation; no arrests have been made.
