The story, neutrally told

Mixed · 2A reward of up to £20,000 is being offered for information that could help find Nazire Koreli, a 56-year-old mother of two who went missing two years ago. Mixed · 2She was last seen close to her home in Welling, southeast London, in September 2024, and her daughters reported her missing to police the following February. Centre · 1Police have searched her home, reviewed hundreds of hours of CCTV and carried out specialist searches in water in nearby Danson Park, but she has not been found.

Mixed · 2Detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command arrested a man in his 50s on suspicion of her murder on 10 March 2025; he was later released on bail and enquiries continue. Mixed · 2The reward is offered by the independent charity Crimestoppers, which says it is paid directly by the charity rather than the police, will be available for three months, and guarantees anonymity to anyone who contacts it. Mixed · 2Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, who leads the investigation, said it remains active, noted that Koreli had many friends and acquaintances in the Bexley area, and asked anyone who saw her between September 2024 and February 2025 to come forward. She is described as slim, with light brown hair and olive skin.

Mixed · 2One of her daughters said that she has since become a mother herself, that her own daughter is about to turn two, and that the family needs answers about where her mother is. Mixed · 2Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or to police on 101 quoting CAD 5678 of 28 February 2025. Left · 1The Daily Mirror also quoted Crimestoppers' London regional manager Alexa Loukas, who said the charity believes someone may know what happened, and Ndella Senghore of Missing People, who urged Koreli to call 116 000 if she was reading.

Every sentence links to the reporting it rests on. The pill in front of each says where its sources sit: Left, Centre or Right when one side supplies at least half of them, Mixed when they are evenly split. The number is how many outlets it cites.
