The story, neutrally told

Centre · 2Avatar: Seven Havens, the new Avatar: The Last Airbender series on Paramount+, has been renewed for a third and fourth season. Centre · 1According to Collider, co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino confirmed the renewal on the day of the series' three-episode debut. Centre · 1Screen Rant says the creators shared the news at New York Comic Con, where an animated prequel series focused on Avatar Kuruk was also announced as in development.

Centre · 1The series was originally confirmed for two seasons totalling 26 episodes; no episode count has been given for the new seasons, though Collider notes the first two seasons had 13 episodes each and expects similar lengths. Centre · 1Collider reports the show debuted with a 100% Certified Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes, and describes its critical reception as positive. Centre · 1The series is set after The Legend of Korra and follows Pavi, a young Earthbender who discovers she is the new Avatar, and her long-lost twin sister Nisha, in a world that fears Avatars rather than seeing them as saviours.

Centre · 1Citing a report by Knight Edge Media, Collider says Books 1 and 2 were recorded three years ago when the voice actors Saheli Khan (Pavi) and Aishu Devan (Nisha) were 11, and recording for Books 3 and 4 began as early as February; Collider speculates this could mean a time jump to older versions of the twins, and that the show could run seven seasons. These are the outlet's own theories, not confirmed plans. Centre · 1Screen Rant places the renewal in a wider Paramount+ strategy, noting the film Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender premiered on the service in July 2026 rather than in theatres, and arguing the platform is committed to the franchise long term. Centre · 1Seven Havens streams on Paramount+, with new episodes weekly on Fridays.
