The story, neutrally told

Prime Video has released a trailer for The Man with the Bag, a Christmas action-comedy starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alan Ritchson, with coverage describing it as a holiday heist movie. The film premieres on Prime Video on 2 December. Schwarzenegger plays Santa Claus, who recruits a thief played by Ritchson after his bag of gifts is stolen.

The A.V. Club says the bag was stolen by a rogue elf played by Awkwafina, and names Ritchson's character Vance. The logline says Vance, Santa's daughter and a group of misfits must pull off a heist to save Christmas. The trailer ends with Schwarzenegger's nod to his Terminator catchphrase, "I'm back!"
