The story, neutrally told

Centre · 2Netflix has announced that seasons 1-3 of the horror series From will be added to its service on 19 October 2026. Centre · 1The show premiered in 2022 on Epix, now MGM+, and has not been on Netflix before. Centre · 2Season 4 is not part of the Netflix deal; viewers can watch it on MGM+ along with seasons 1-3. Screen Rant says season 4 released new episodes between April and June 2026, and counts 10 episodes per season, so 30 would be on Netflix.

Centre · 1Collider describes the arrangement as a short-term licensing deal in which the streamer carries the first three seasons for a limited time, as a promotional window ahead of season 5. Centre · 2The series follows people trapped in a small town they cannot leave, where smiling creatures come out of the forest at night to hunt them. Harold Perrineau plays Boyd Stevens, the town's sheriff. Centre · 2Stephen King has praised the show, calling it "believable and scary as hell" with a "wonderful concept, beautifully handled", according to Screen Rant. Collider reports a 96% average critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Centre · 2Season 5 was renewed on 15 April 2026 and began filming in early July in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Collider says filming is expected to wrap on 28 November. No premiere date has been set, though both outlets point to 2027. Centre · 1Screen Rant describes From as the most-watched MGM+ show of all time. It argues the Netflix run could widen its audience and push Netflix subscribers towards MGM+ for season 4 and the coming final season.
