Framing
Both outlets run the same text, which comes from Fox News. It is a short crime report built around the sheriff's office video and local-station quotes. It presents the deputies' K9 and drone search as the story and treats the crash as a near miss for the residents.
Emphasis
The video, the K9 and drone search, the sheriff's office's confident social post, and residents' relief that nobody was home.
Leaves out or plays down
Neither names the teens or says what happened to them after the arrests. Neither says how the car came to be stolen. The Oct. 15 date is given only inside the article, although the pieces were published on Oct. 25 and 26.
