FX releases The Lowdown season 2 trailer; Ethan Hawke returns, premiere Oct. 14

FX released the first trailer for season two of The Lowdown, showing Ethan Hawke's Lee Raybon drawn into a new conspiracy. The season premieres Oct. 14.

The story, neutrally told

FX has released the official trailer for season two of The Lowdown, which premieres on October 14. Ethan Hawke returns as Lee Raybon, who is pulled into a conspiracy involving local police. The Hollywood Reporter says the new case in Tulsa involves, in Lee's words, "two confirmed murders and the whole sheriff's department."

Betty Gilpin plays Ginger, a public defender whose mystery involving a client draws Lee in. Tommy Lee Jones appears as Lee's estranged father, Lee Sr. Returning cast members include Kaniehtiio Horn, Ryan Kiera Armstrong and Killer Mike, and Martha Plimpton guest stars.

Sterlin Harjo, creator of Reservation Dogs, is the showrunner and executive produces with Hawke and others; FX Productions is the studio.
